Low on materials in container; plugged inlet screen; malfunctioning feed; prime pump/ air trapped

• Spray pump continues to run with gun off >>>

Pump runs continuously; pulsating spray pattern

Rebuild fluid section of the pump

Spraying Plural Component Material such as Polyurethane Foam Insulation

Lacking Isocyanate >>>

• Restriction: if high pressure on isocyanate pressure gauge check between gun and console
• Starvation : check from console to material supply system

Alternate white bursts and/or soft foam

Intermittent lack of Isocyanate >>>

• Intermittent: check pumps on Isocyanate side

Dark spray and/or brittle foam

Lacking Polyol >>>

• Restriction: if high pressure on Polyol pressure gauge, check between gun and console
• Starvation: check from console to material supply system

Alternate dark bursts and/or brittle foam

Intermittent lack of Polyol >>>

• Intermittent: check pumps on Polyol side

Incorrect Temperature

Stream of material not a spray

Low temperature >>>

• Incorrect setting: increase as necessary
• Electrical fault: troubleshoot electrically

Foam not fully expanded

Low temperature >>>

• Incorrect setting: increase as necessary
• Electrical Fault : troubleshoot electrically

Popcorn appearance on foam surface

High temperature >>>

• Incorrect setting: reduce as necessary
• Electric fault: troubleshoot electrically

Incorrect Mixing

Large droplets small spray pattern

Low Pressure >>>

• Incorrect setting: increase air pressure to proportioning unit
• Starvation: check from console to material supply system
• Pump Fault: repair as necessary

Foam not fully expanded

Low Pressure >>>

• Incorrect setting: increase air pressure to proportioning unit
• Starvation: check from console to material supply system
• Pump Fault: repair as necessary
